THE ACADEMIC ADMINISTRATION IN SUPPORTING SERVICE QUALITY
( Descriptive Qualitative Study at Teachers training and Education Faculty University of Bengkulu )

The purpose of this study is to describe the academic administration in supporting the service quality in teachers training and education faculty university of Bengkulu. The method of this study was descriptive qualitative .The subjects of this study were dean of teachers training and education faculty, vise dean in academic, lecturers, academic staffs, and the students. The data was obtained from observation, interview and documentation. The result of this study shows that first, the vision and mision were reliable and suitable to the main job of the faculty, second, the service procedure was gathered thightly to the academic calendar, third , the academic registration run efectively, fourth, student result sheets service were optimal, fifth, teaching and learning activity run maximal based on the schedule, sixth, evaluation and monitoring used as the standard of measurement of the effectiveness of teaching and learning activity, seventh, the supporting factors were the comfortable condition and working atmosphere of the faculty and  the denied factor was the facility. The researcher conclude that the academic administration services were really needed and really support the service quality and give the great contribution to the outcomes of the faculty.

SIMPULAN, IMPLIKASI DAN SARAN
A.  Simpulan
            Simpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa administrasi akademik berperan dalam mendukung mutu layanan FKIP Universitas Bengkulu dan berkontribusi dalam  meningkatkan mutu lulusan melalui pemberian layanan yang bersifat administrasi. Layanan yang diberikan telah sesuai dengan tupoksi yang diembankan pada Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan. Tugas dan tanggung jawab sudah dilakukan staf akademik untuk menunjang pelayanan prima bagi semua yang berkepentingan, dalam hal ini pelanggan pendidikan yakni seluruh mahasiswa FKIP Universitas Bengkulu dan juga pelaksana pendidikan yang ada yakni dosen  sebagai tenaga pendidik.
                        Simpulan khusus dalam penelitian adalah sebagai berikut: Pertama, perumusan visi dan misi akademik FKIP Universitas Bengukulu yang ditetapkan telah sesuai dengan cara melibatkan semua pihak (civitas akademik) melalui musyawarah. Perumusan  visi, misi juga sesuai dengan tujuan yang akan dicapai oleh fakultas secara bersama karena visi, misi yang telah dirumuskan sangat mempengaruhi kinerja yang dilaksanakan untuk mencapai tujuan mendukung mutu layanan yang bermutu dan menguasai ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi.
